Fine jewelry combining Old World artistry and modern designs.
Spain has always been a favorite destination. While traveling there in 2019, I was once again awed by the history and beauty. I also gained a new appreciation for slowing down and taking in the details of all that surrounds us, perfect and imperfect. This has led me to creating the line, Santos Oñate. Named after my great-grandmother, Santos Oñate is timeless jewelry that is made-to-order, for each customer. Some pieces are heavy on details, while others appear to be simple. All go through multiple passovers at the jeweler's bench until they are just so. You won't be disappointed.

OLD WORLD FINISHES and ARTISINAL QUALITY
Our Master jewelers use the Old World techniques they learned in Europe. We cast our jewelry when it is ordered. Each piece of jewelry is finished by hand at a jewelers bench, so no two pieces are exactly the same.

LA GUARDIA, SPAIN
The hillside walled town in the province of La Rioja is perched above Spanish vineyards in the Basque region. Its history is rich -- dating back to the 10th century. Deep red color splashes through the ancient town of La Guardia. Buckets of red geraniums drip lazily over iron balconies; garnet street signs greet you. It takes your breath away.
Like the rest of Spain, life is lived well here. Children play in the plaza, the butcher sells jamon, the clothing designer creates leather jackets with intricate detail --and people celebrate life.
